Dr. Lydell Wenzel - Continued ...

Early in his professional career Dr. Wenzel had a special interest in orthodontics and took many advanced courses in this discipline. Orthodontics remains a large part of Dr. Wenzell's practice and with the large number of cases completed he has become very competent in this area. He is a member of the International Association of Orthodontics.

General Dentistry remains a vital part of his practice including all fields of the profession. Cutting edges of Dentistry interest him as much as Implant Dentistry. Thirteen years ago, Dr. Wenzel began his involvement in this discipline and has found it to be one of the most rewarding procedures for his patients. Implant dentistry will likely grow dramatically in the future and so will Dr. Wenzel's commitment  to excellence in this area.

Dentistry in all aspects is advancing very quickly and Dr. Wenzel firmly believes in a commitment to ongoing education and training programs for himself and his staff. Continuing education is the key to success in this rapidly growing profession.

Dr. Wenzel was raised in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and met his wife Roberta in Saskatoon where she received her B. Ed. They have two children, Eryn and Michael. Dr. Wenzel has been very involved with his church, First Assembly, and has served as a member of it's Board for 10 consecutive years. He enjoys socializing and with Roberta's flair for entertaining has made many great friends in Medicine Hat.

Dr. Wenzel has diversified interests outside the dental office and sports are one of those areas. He has maintained a 6 handicap in golf for the past few years but says it will be a major challenge to get it below five. Dr. Wenzel and Roberta are certified scuba divers with some great stories surrounding that sport. Recently snowboarding and windsurfing have become new pursuits that will make that 5 handicap even harder to achieve.
